Great for Groceries, Beach Items, or Even Human Heads

I was contacted via email by Simply Bags about posting a product review. I have never done a product review before, but I liked the product and was excited about getting something for free. So I said yes.

A few days later, this came in the mail for me.

The bag I got was green, and of course my name isn't Jennifer, but you get the idea....

I got a lovely green tote bag that was embroidered with the name Yankee Girl on it. When I first saw it online, I thought it was cute, but wasn’t really in love with it. But then it showed up on my doorstep and I was giddy with delight. You see, this tote bag is WAY COOLER in person. The colors are so bright and the bag is at least twice as big as I expected it to be. When Leland saw it, the first thing he said was “you can fit at least four human heads in that bag!”

Yes. Leland measures bags by how many human heads he can fit in it.

If you don't want to carry heads in your bag, it would make a great beach bag. It's canvas, so sand will be easy to remove. And you'll be less likely to mix it up with a strangers bag since it has your name on it.

Eager to show off my new bag, I used it when we went to my parent’s house for dinner. We had a ton of things to bring back to them, like empty wine bottles (my dad makes his own wine so we always reuse the bottles), a bowl that belonged to my mom that had just parked itself on my kitchen counter for weeks, and an appetizer that we brought over. The bag was HEAVY.

But the bag didn’t care. It didn’t feel the pressure at all. It stayed calm and cool and just carried the heavy load without complaining. The thick rope handles didn’t even buckle. The bottom didn’t look like it was going to fall out. Not only is the bag super cute and has room for four human heads, it is strong and sturdy and can carry a lot of weight.

So leave it in your car and use it when you are grocery shopping. You can pack a ton of groceries into the bag. Using the Tote Bag is a great way to go green.

LMAO!

:) Oh my, I can only imagine what the manufacturer for whom you did this review thinks of the "4 heads" bit... I just want to see their faces, that's all.

Sounds like a great bag. I suspect green is one of "your" colors.

I know you have a raccoon skull, an otter skull and a bird skull... now one wonders if there has been something "secretly" added to that Death Shrine of yours...

...nice to see you are up to 104 too...

That's a nice-looking back. I like how the handles aren't sewn on. I've had one too many canvas bags where the stitches rip at the seams of the handle and then I have sew them back on (not likely) or they are useless.

That is hilarious! That bag just didn't even care!
By the way, the worst movie ever: Eight Heads in a Duffelbag. Seen it? Don't.
Also, your sex thing jumped up!!!

It looks like a really nice bag! Would be great for carting swimming stuff to a friend's house. Don't we get a chance to win one?!

4 human heads...Awesome. I need a bag like that for all the baby stuff I schlep around! Reminds me of my hubby's first comment about the trunk of our car: We could fit a lot of bodies in here.

Ha, and cheers to 104!!

I love it! I went to the website, and they have great prices too! I may order one, I mean, it is Yankee Girl approved.

Plus I have all those heads I need to carry around.

You have to have a way to measure volume and everyone knows how big a human head is. Your Leland is smart.

Also a good point that you'd be less likely to confuse the bags with your name written on it!

Nice review!

Nice! I use tote bags all the time for work. I'm always dragging games and stuff around.

PS I love that your dad makes his own wine.

I agree with Leland, the number of human heads you can fit in any given bag is very important! I wonder if the bag would care about human heads?

Nonetheless, it's very very cute!!

I'm always looking for a durable bag to carry my human head collection around in. This seems like the best solution! Plus I can have my name embroidered on so that my head collection doesn't get mixed up with anyone elses!

But really, it's a great bag. If I had something this cool, I would probably remember to bring it with me to the grocery store all the time rather than always forgetting my much lamer looking grocery bags!

Considering that the human head is both sizable and heavy, I'd say that's a respectable measure of a tote.

I think I'd like the green better, too.

Awesome! Lucky you, getting personalized bags in the mail :) I think you should try carrying Bacchus in it. That would be the ultimate test of strength.

Leland is truly one of a kind. I always enjoy hearing his outlook on things (assuming it is not a skull that still has hair on it, etc then I'd rather not hear)

Very cool! And since I don't carry heads in canvas -- I always use bowling bags for heads, just the way I roll! -- I think it would work great for the beach or many other non-beheading related activites! LOL

I love this because of a) measuring a bag by how many human heads can fit in it and b) attaching feeling to the bag -- "But the bag didn't care." :-D And it IS very cute!
